The Information Store is one of the key components of the MaggieMe™ platform. Here, in a "web store" environment, content can be offered to the subscriber in a host of custom ways and presented either as a publishers site, an industry site, or appended to a carrier or ISP eCommerce web portal, depending on the needs and desire of individual publishers.
The basic premise of the Information Store is to provide the subscriber with a store front of choices - magazines, newspapers and news feeds for insertion into the subscribers mobile or desktop digital experience. The store front can resemble some of today's popular "App Store" ecommerce sites but with a much broader range of services.
The articles or subscriptions identified on the Information Store will be presented on the subscriber's personal dashboard - where various categories of subscriptions or feeds would be available for their use. These could be intermingled or broken into specific daily renderings. For example, a subscriber might want to assemble their own magazine on fitness, utilizing feeds from a variety of magazines that cover that subject or assemble a magazine during the month of March to explore the many articles on "March Madness" - college basketball's premier event.
